Sloping sites are not a deterrent for us at the studio! They offer the opportunity to explore a fusion of existing design approaches with emerging global layouts such as angle slicing and pull away construction techniques. Allowing for a flexible and not a forced use of the natural topography. Cardiff Hall building design showcases our expertise in this area.
Our objective was to create a structure with an aesthetically elegant appeal dovetailed with keen attention to enforced engineering codes and economic prudence.
We at Modage believe this project achieved the aforementioned. Concisely put, it comprises three (3) main volumes and tells a story of a relationship between terrain and architectural tactic.
