With this project the team was tasked to create a contemporary residence on a sloping terrain. It was important for the client that the incline resulted in a building with a distinctive edge.
We started with some fundamentals of contemporary architecture; focusing on sharpness of lines, attention to details and cool tones. The team’s paramount interest was to create a building that would be in harmony with its natural environment and at the same time stand out as one of Modage’s signature creations.
In the end we designed with symmetry ,proportion and rhythm that lent to many impactful features. One being an infinity pool at the sloping eastern edge. This was ideally suited for this property as its mesmerizing scenery, blends effortlessly with the horizon and evokes ones mind to gaze into the breathtaking vista.
